The setting begins with the destruction of Jurassic World: Dominion, which caused prehistoric animals or dinosaurs to roam the island.

Review

The story begins with an illegal researcher recruiting several people to obtain a mosasaurus blood sample. The journey to obtain the mosasaurus sample is one of the best scenes in Jurassic World: Rebirth, due to the suspenseful nature of the process. However, the mission ends tragically after their ship is attacked by various dinosaurs, leaving only a few survivors stranded on the shore with the ship badly damaged.

The film then focuses on the family of Teresa, Isabella, Reuben, and Xavier, who try to follow the pipeline in the hope of someone saving them using a rubber boat. However, in one scene, there's a rather implausible moment when a T-Rex bites their rubber boat, but the boat doesn't break at all. This scene lacks logic, which makes the film a bit less appealing to me.

The final scene features a dinosaur with an alien-like face named Distortus rex. I thought it was just an animal whose facial features resembled those of other dinosaurs, but I was wrong; it turns out Distortus rex is actually a Xenomorph, a design from the Alien movies. The appearance of Distortus Rex managed to make me curious and want to know more about this animal species.

Is it Worth It ?

This series is not recommended because the visual effects of the dinosaurs are still lacking, the scene where the T-rex bites the rubber boat is not logical, and the plot is so boring that it makes me fall asleep.
